Savoury Cheese Scones with Caramelised Onion

Ingredients
- 300 g Plain flour
- 90 g Butter
- 14 g Baking powder
- 5 g Salt
- 200 g Milk
- 90 g Grated cheese
- 25 g
- 150 g
Method
- Rub the flour, butter, baking powder, salt and cheeses together to form a sandy texture with no lumps of butter remaining.
- Add the milk and Barker’s Professional Caramelised Onion Breadshot into the sandy mixture and combine to form a dough – avoid overmixing.
- Roll the dough out to 25mm thickness and cut as desired.
- Lightly egg wash the top surface and bake at 200⁰C for approximately 12 minutes.
