Malay Chicken Curry

Tender chicken simmered in rich Barker's Professional Malay Curry Meal Sauce, infused with spices. Perfect with steamed rice or naan.

Ingredients

  • 500g chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 374 g Barker's Professional Malay Curry Meal Sauce
  • Fresh parsley or coriander, to garnish

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  3. Pour in Barker’s Professional Malay Meal Sauce, stirring well to combine.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and let it cook for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or warm naan bread.
