Caramel Walnut Slice
Rich caramel and crunchy walnuts make this slice a decadent treat that’s perfect for sharing (or not!).

Ingredients
- 1 batch
- 1 kg
- 350 grams
Method
- Using a standard sweet pastry recipe line a slice tin.
- Combine Barker’s Professional Caramel Classic Creme and the chopped walnuts. Microwave on high for approximately 1 minute or until softened.
- Deposit on top of the sweet pastry and spread out evenly. (The slice tin should be at least half full).
- Bake at 180°C for approximately 18 to 20 minutes or until golden brown in colour.
- Once cool, you can ice with either a chocolate ganache or standard chocolate icing.
