Spicy Burgers

Serves 10 people

Ingredients

  • 1.5 kg ground prime beef (lean is good)
  • 200 g Breadcrumbs
  • 400 g Barker’s Professional Tandoori Paste
  • 100 g Natural yoghurt
  • ½ cup chopped parsley
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp Salt

Method

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl or a mixer. Shape into 10 patties (approximately 200 grams each).
  2. Grill the patties until done and then assemble the burgers.
  3. Grill or toast burger buns sliced in half.
  4. Spread with 1 tsp yoghurt mayonnaise on the base, add crunchy lettuce, sliced tomato and the grilled pattie.  Top with more yoghurt mayonnaise and Barker’s Professional Mango & Peach Chutney.
  5. YOGHURT MAYONNAISE - Mix 2 cups of fresh egg mayonnaise with 1 cup of natural yoghurt.
