Shakshuka Bread Cases

Serves 12 bread cases people

These shakshuka bread cases combine a rich, spiced filling with eggs, smoky sausage and melted cheese. All baked into crisp, golden bread cups. Perfectly portioned and full of flavour, they’re a versatile option for breakfast, brunch, or snack-time service.

Ingredients

  • 200 g Barker's Professional Shakshuka Filling
  • 3 Egg
  • 2 cut into pieces Chicken kransky
  • 12 slices Sliced sandwhich bread
  • ¼ cup Grated cheese

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 180°C
  2. Spray Texas muffin tins with oil.
  3. Lightly butter one side of the bread slices. Place a bread slice into each muffin tin, butter side down.
  4. Divide the chopped Kransky between the 12 bread cases
  5. Mix the eggs into the Barker’s Professional Shakashuka Savoury Filling, then pour the mixture evenly into the bread cases.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese over the top of each case.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes until brown and set.
  8. Serve garnished with sour cream and parsley.
