Chocolate Caramel Afghans

Everyone loves a good Afghan and this recipe brings together everything your Afghan dreams are made of; crunchy, chocolatey, creamy, and nutty - topped with our smooth Dulce de Leche.
This recipe makes 15 large or 30 small Afghans - you choose!

Ingredients
- 200g softened Butter
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 1 1/4 cups Plain flour
- 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
- 2 cups Corn Flakes
Icing
- 200 g Barker's Dulce de leche Milk Caramel
- 150 g Dark chocolate
Method
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Mix in flour and cocoa powder.
- Add in cornflakes and mix until combined.
- Roll the dough into balls and flatten with a spoon. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
- Once cooled, spread a teaspoon of Barker's Dulce de Leche on each biscuit. Place in the fridge while you melt the chocolate.
- Once chocolate is melted, carefully spread over the top of each biscuit (this is best done using a spoon).
- Leave until set.
