Ingredients
- 80 ml Lemon juice
- 79 ml lemon juice
- 30 g turmeric powder
- 4 firm tofu, drained and dried
- flakes Sea salt
- freshly milled pepper
- 700 ml Barker’s Professional Butter Chicken Meal Sauce
- 250 ml Water
- 6 sliced spring onions, sliced
- ½ cup coriander leaves
Method
- In a container that will hold the tofu, stir together the lemon juice, cumin and turmeric.
- Cut the tofu into cubes, coat in the liquid and allow to sit for at least an hour or overnight in the refrigerator.
- In a saucepan, bring the Barker’s Professional Butter Chicken Meal Sauce and water to a simmer.
- Add the tofu and it’s marinade.
- Add the spring onions and cook gently for 5 minutes.
- Fold in the coriander and serve.
