Teriyaki Chicken

Makes 10 meals for 9+ age group

Ingredients

650g Uncooked Diced Chicken

400g Barker’s Professional Teriyaki Meal Sauce

100ml Water

A little oil

 1.350kg Cooked Rice

750g Cooked Broccoli/Beans/Mixed Vegetables

Method

Stove top

  1. Prepare a large pan with a spray of oil and put to heat on medium to high.

  2. Fry chicken until golden brown, turning to ensure pieces are cooked through (10 to 15 mins).

  3. Reduce the heat and pour Barker’s Professional Teriyaki Meal Sauce along with the water.

  4. Stir into the chicken until well combined and warmed through

  5. Serve with cooked rice and vegetables

Oven

  1. Preheat oven to 200oC, prepare an oven pan with a light coating of oil

  2. Place diced chicken into the oven pan and cook on high temperature for 10-15 minutes. Turn chicken once during cook to ensure all pieces are cooked through.

  3. Remove tray from the oven and reduce heat to 180oC

  4. Pour Barker’s Professional Teriyaki Meal Sauce and water into the pan together with chicken and stir in until well combined.

  5. Return pan to the oven to heat sauce on low heat for 5-10 minutes or until meal sauce begins to steam.

  6. Serve with cooked rice and vegetables.
