Teriyaki Chicken Donburi

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp Cooking Oil

  • 8 Chicken Tenderloins

  • 1 Cup Barker’s Professional Teriyaki Meal Sauce

  • 2 Tbsp Cooking Oil

  • Handful Thin Beans, Vine End Trimmed And Cut Into Thumb Lengths

  • 8 White Button Mushrooms, Cut Into Six Wedges Each

  • 12 Broccoli Florets, Blanched

  • 1 Cup Steamed Sushi Rice

  • 2 Tbsp Toasted White Sesame Seeds

Method:

  1. Heat the oil in a sauté pan. Add the chicken tenderloins, and gently poach in the Barker’s Professional Teriyaki Meal Sauce for 4 minutes.

  2. Turn off heat and allow to ‘rest’ in the sauce.

  3. Take a new pan, add the second amount of oil and heat. Add the beans and mushrooms, stir-fry for 2 minutes.

  4. Add the broccoli and continue to cook for a further 3 minutes.

  5. Place a spoonful of rice in 2 heated, deep bowls.

  6. Add 4 chicken tenderloins to each bowl, and pour over half the sauce in each bowl.

  7. Spoon on top the vegetables and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
