Green Vegetable Quiche

Ingredients:

  • 500g mixed green vegetables (chopped)

  • 150g grated cheese

  • 300ml cream

  • 200ml eggs

  • 200g Barker’s Professional Caramelised Onion Savoury Filling

  • Salt & pepper

  • Fresh parsley (optional)

Method:

  1. Blanch the chopped vegetables.

  2. Place in a standard quiche tin lined with a shortcrust or flaky pastry.

  3. Sprinkle over the cheese.

  4. Mix the remaining ingredients and seasoning, and pour over the vegetables.

  5. Cook for approximately 40 minutes at 170°C fan bake or 190°C standard bake.

Note:  Cover the quiche with foil for the first 30 minutes to prevent the top vegetables from overcooking
