Butter Chicken & Lentil Lasagne

Serves 4

Ingredients

•  10g oil

•  10g garlic, crushed

•  50g onion

•  250g cooked chicken, small diced

• 300g lentils (drained from 400g can)

• 60g cheese (blend Parmesan/Colby)

 Butter Chicken Mix (whisked together)

• 425g Barker’s Professional Butter Chicken Meal Sauce

• 90g water

 White Sauce Mix (heated and whisked together)           

• 250g Barker’s Professional Cream Style Meal Base

• 175g water

Method

  1. Fry the onions in oil until soft. Add the cooked chicken and lentils. Add the Butter Chicken Mix and combine all together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. Layer In a deep dish (10 x 7 inch or 9 x 9 inch) starting with the butter chicken/lentil mix at the bottom. Add a lasagne sheet.

  3. Add butter chicken/lentil mix, white sauce mix and a lasagne sheet. Repeat with butter chicken/lentil mix, white sauce mix and lasagne sheet.

  4. Top with white sauce mix and cheese.

  5. Bake at 170°C for approximately 30 minutes.
