Beef Lasagne

Serves 4

Ingredients

•  10g oil

•   10g garlic, crushed

•  50g onion

•  500g beef mince

•  60g cheese (blend Parmesan/Colby)

 Tomato Sauce Mix (whisked together)

•  350g Barker’s Professional Best Buy Tomato Sauce

•  150g water

 White Sauce Mix (heated and whisked together)           

• 250g Barker’s Professional Cream Style Meal Base

• 175g water

Method

  1. Fry the onions in oil until soft. Add the mince and cook until the meat is caramelised.

  2. Add the Tomato Sauce Mix and season with black pepper.

  3. Layer In a deep dish (10 x 7 inch or 9 x 9 inch) starting with the tomato mince at the bottom.

    Add a lasagne sheet.

  4. Add tomato mince, white sauce mix and a lasagne sheet. Repeat with tomato mince, white sauce mix and lasagne sheet.

  5. Top with white sauce mix, cheese and chopped parsley (optional).

  6. Bake at 180°C for approximately 30 minutes.
